Youth Show and Show for Youths.... I s'pose

Looks as though I'll be exhibiting my latest works at Las Manos gallery in their upcoming Youth Show! The opening for that is May 12th.  The night before my graduation! So I hope to see a lot of familiar faces as well as new ones.

I'd also like to apologize to everyone who's been trying to see my official website.  I thought it'd be up by last Mon. but it isn't.  My friend, Jack Koo, is doing an amazing job helping me with that but as things go, we're taking longer than expected.  But it should be up soon.  And it will be amazing!  When it goes up, it won't be a completely finished portfolio but over time I'll be updating and adding work to it.  So be on the look out!

Last but not least I'm going home to work with HS students for a few days starting on Mon. through Wed.    So I'll try to get some images and posts about that.  It should be a lot of fun!

Art Sale done

Art Sale was a success! Thank you everyone that came and supported the artists including friends and family that helped boost morale!  As I understand it was a really small turn out compared to usual and it was difficult for a lot of the artists there this weekend.  I have a lot of stuff left so if anyone wants any artwork just holla! I'm also going to try to participate in Gold Coast Art Fair but am unsure but will keep everyone posted on it.  If i do, I'll definitely have new work so be on the look out for that!  I already have a project ready. It just needs to be edited and printed.

Pre Art Sale stuffs

So SPRING ART SALE is in a few hours and i'm just getting last minute things done... but everyone should go if they can.  Also gonna post another collage i did this past week, and also note i've been thinking about sheet music as language and art. I've been enamored with Frederick Sommer's sheet music drawings and the idea that musicians can attempt to interpret it.  It's gorgeous and blows my mind! so on to art sale... I'm going to have prints from my BFA piece and i suspect that chances to get anything related to my glass plate projects/practice will be few and far between... but i can't see into the future and have yet to decide how to approach it... I won't be selling my actual BFA glass plates though.  so.... go to the sale.
