Thanks Everyone!

First off I'd like to say that it's been only a week since this blog has started and I can't tell you how exciting it is to see people are actually looking at my blog! Thanks so much for the interest! It keeps me motivated to try to keep working on being productive this summer and this blog is also a great way to keep friends informed. So thanks for taking a look and i hope i don't bore you as the summer goes on :).

So I finally got the first batch of moth eggs i'd been expecting last week. I got them in the mail yesterday and they should be the first to hatch in the next couple of days :D! They're from a species named Cecropia. I received a second batch of em today too. They were shipped as individual eggs oddly enough and i sure hope they're alright. This species' caterpillars gets massive, like the size of sausages but they're fun. Hopefully i'll have the space to house em all into adult moths.
below is the second batch i received today.
I also had fossil prep today. Remember that rock resembling a turkey leg from my first post? well i've made some progress on it. I rather liked it better as a turkey leg though.
I would also like to mention i just finished the book Bambi by Felix Salten, and i've gotta say that book is horribly depressing for children. Much much more real and interesting then the Disney animated movie. That movie really was a children's movie. This book would traumatize a tween. But it was really interestingly written. I dunno it's not a book for everyone but I liked it. I could write an in depth review but i'm not really in the mood and I doubt it'd be a good review. Now i'm reading Picture of Dorian Grey by Oscar Wilde. It's pretty good so far. Pretty heavy on thought-engaging material though. Haven't had a tremendous amount of time to work on art but at least i'm keeping busy with my moth project. I have a few ideas for photo projects and drawings to do this weekend so I'll keep everyone updated on that and when the caterpillars start hatching.
