This literally just happened! I came up from doing laundry and was about to go to sleep when i heard rustling from my apt living room. It was coming from one of my collection boxes that i was working with and low and behold, it was a cecropia moth emerged from it's diapause! I have no idea how, but it survived winter more or less in my apt. And now i've taken all the other cocoons out just in case they all decide to emerge in the next couple of weeks. This. is. Awesome.
